CNN - Geek Out Interview

In a recent interview with CNN's Geek Out blog,  Ms. Morgan Webb was asked about the state of gaming in 2011 and what it means to be a gamer.

Unfortunately, it is a more confusing word now because there are so many different types of games and so many people playing games from on their cell phones, or on Facebook, or on many other things. The word encompasses so many different groups, so it doesn’t really mean as much as it used to. I call myself a gamer, but someone’s mom who plays ‘Farmville’ all the time, maybe she calls herself a gamer too, and she should, because she is. I think we need words to start differentiating the subgroups.

Comic-Con 2011: X-Play Panel & Feedback

X-Play had their first panel at Comic-Con after making their premier trip to San Diego this year. Morgan Webb, Blair Herter, Adam Sessler and Kristen Adams answered questions from fans and gave away prizes. You can find a break down of the event over at ugo.com.

Guest Appearance on 'Feedback'

With E3 2011 right around the corner, Ms. Webb joined Adam Sessler (X-Play Host/G4 Editor-in-Chief), Eric Eckstein (G4TV.com Editorial Director) and Kevin Kelly (G4TV.com Features Editor) on the panel of this past week's episode of Feedback. The panel talked about StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckonning, Call of Duty Elite and more.

Celeb-Nerdy Interview

Morgan Webb was recently interviewed by David Wolinsky of Adult Swims's Celeb-Nerdy. The interview focuses solely on one of Ms. Webb's interests. It's not video games or technology, but insects. Ants in particular. And for those that are curious, Entomology is the study of insects and Myrmecology is the study of ants.
